UPDATE: What to Wear?

Lots of people have asked about appropriate attire for this auspicious occasion. Here's a basic guide to help you pack:

For the Mehendi (Henna): Casual. Dress for comfort!
For the Sangeet/Badchan: Festive cocktail attire.
For the Wedding/Reception: Ladies- if you've got a sparkly dress hanging in your closet waiting for an occasion, now's the time! Gentlemen- suit is appropriate.

If you have decided to stay at either the Hampton Inn or TownePlace Suites in Littleton, the group reservation rate deadline is approaching. To get the rates shown below, you must make your reservation by July 18, 2008 for the Hampton Inn, and July 8, 2008 for TownePlace Suites.

Where to Stay

We encourage you to stay in Littleton for the weekend. Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Coors Brewing Company (where Rashmi was a tour guide!) are both close by, with easy access to I-70 into the Rockies. Getting Around

Regardless of how you get here, be prepared to do some driving. Denver is a car-loving city and car rental will be useful to you for getting around our wedding venues and exploring Colorado's beautiful sites on your own.

For those of you flying in, we have arranged a group car rental rate through Enterprise. The rate varies between $28 and $60 a day, and can be obtained by either one of the following methods:

1. Contact Holli Pedrick at Holli.R.Pedrick@erac.com or 303-564-6925 and reference account number (12DDD05) when making the reservation.

2. Visit www.enterprise.com. Type in the account number (12DDD05) at the bottom of first page. Type in first 3 letters of the account name (DEN) on the next page.

Getting to Colorado

By air:
Denver International Airport is approximately 30 miles away from Littleton and offers service from most major domestic carriers. United and Frontier, both of which have hubs in Denver, offer numerous non-stop routes to get here. JetBlue also offers affordable non-stop service for guests traveling from Boston or New York. Summer is a popular season for tourism in Colorado so book in advance!

By car:
Denver is located at the intersection of Interstates 25 and 70. Littleton is located off of state highway SH-470 in the southwest metropolitan area.

By train:
Amtrak provides service to Union Station in Denver. Light rail service by RTD runs between Union Station and Mineral Station in Littleton. See www.amtrak.com and www.rtd-denver.com for more details.
